Here is an easy-to-prepare, light summer meal for all to enjoy!
Ingredients:
Souvlaki Pita or Any Pita bread 4 -5 pcs
Jar of Indianlife Tikka Masala Sauce
1/2 of red bell pepper
1/2 of green bell pepper
1/2 of yellow bell pepper
1 onion
4 mushrooms
125 -150 g of paneer diced cubes
Preparation:
Cut all veggies in 1/2 ” chunks
Slice onion and mushroom into thick pieces
Mix all ingredients into the Tikka Masala Sauce
Let marinate for 1/2 an hour
Heat pan with a bit of ghee or other oil if not using a nonstick pan. Put all marinated vegetables in a single layer. Pan fry with little stirring till they get some brown patches roughly 2-3 minutes.
Once vegetables are done add paneer cubes. Mix well for a minute or so and remove from pan.
Warm the Souvlaki Pita bread on the pan for about 2 minutes. Turn it over to heat the other side; let sit on the pan for a minute. Remove from pan.
On each Pita bread put vegetables and paneer on each end and roll it up. Serve with lettuce, Raita or hummus for dipping and lemon if you wish.
